How to Remove Press-On Nails Safely

How to Remove Press-On Nails Safely

SMiDA KR Korean press-on nails are designed to be reusable, so removal should always be gentle. Pulling them off in one move can damage the natural nail. Use one of the two safe methods below for clean removal in UAE.

Method 1: Warm water soak (best for everyday glue)

  1. Fill a bowl with warm water and a few drops of mild soap.
  2. Soak fingers for 8 to 10 minutes.
  3. Use a cuticle pusher to gently lift the press-on at the cuticle.
  4. Rock side to side until the press-on releases. Never force it.

Method 2: Press-on debonder (best for strong glue)

  1. Apply our press-on nail debonder at the cuticle line.
  2. Wait 60 to 90 seconds.
  3. Lift gently with a cuticle pusher.

After removal

  • Buff the natural nail surface to remove leftover glue.
  • Wash hands.
  • Apply cuticle oil or hand cream.

How to keep the set for reuse

  1. Wipe the back of each press-on with a clean cloth.
  2. Soak briefly in warm soapy water if needed.
  3. Buff the inside surface gently.
  4. Store in the original tray, by size.

SMiDA French tip, cat eye, solid color, colorful and designer sets all reuse 3 to 4 times.

FAQ

What if a nail will not lift after soaking? Wait longer or use the debonder. Never pull. Damaged natural nails take weeks to grow back.

Can I remove press-on nails in the shower? A warm shower will soften the glue, but a focused soak is more reliable.

Do I need a special remover? A press-on debonder is best for strong glue. Acetone is not recommended for SMiDA Korean handmade sets.
